Ability to "Approve" Triggered Alert events - Whitelist alert events

Some workflows, especially Minor ones, are going to be triggered constantly as new groups are created, new files are shared, etc. I shouldn't have to go change the Alert threshhold every time a new group/setting/etc is triggered and I looked into it and it's fine. I want to be able to just mark those as "Approved" or something so they don't trigger the workflow any more. (I just realized this was an issue because the new dashboard shows all of my triggered alerts in a visual, but slightly alarming, way.)
